Dr Kung is a leading infertility specialist in Taiwan and currently the professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan and the coordinator of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Xiamen Chang Gung Hospital, Xiamen, China.
Dr Kung specializes in the specialty of reproductive surgery and the professionalism of in vitro fertilization therapy. Clinical services include infertility treatment, assisted reproductive technology (ART), and laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries. He has performed more than 13,000 cases of minimally invasive reproductive operations.
Dr Kung is very active in academic activities in reproductive medicine and public affairs and serving on several professional bodies in Taiwan. He was the president of Taiwan Association for Minimally Invasive Gynecology (TAMIG), 2010-2012, and has been a councilor of TAMIG, Taiwan Society for Reproductive Medicine, and Taiwan Association of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr Kung has been an invited speaker at many regional, national and international meetings (> 130). He has been having a long interest in clinic research and obtained research awards form National Science Council. In addition, he has been rewarded with more than 130 publications in peer-reviewed international SCI journals, e.g. Fertil Steril, Hum Reprod, Am J Obstet Gynecol, Int J Gyneco Obstet, J Minim Invasive Gynecol, Taiwan J Obstet Gynecol, ... etc.
